After adding the geography to my GIS project, an import GIS agent option should be used to load the data from a shape file. When i do a right click on the geography i don't get the option of "Import GIS agent"

Any ideas why is this the case?

It seems that somehow the org.metaabm.ide.gis plugin didn't get installed -- but everything else did. You can check this by clicking "File:About Eclipse" and clicking "plugin details".

Are you using the http://metaabm.org/downloads/eclipse/metaABMDropins_1.2_vI20080624.zip ? This is the only one that supports the new functionality.

What version of Eclipse are you using and what OS are you on?

Did you have a prior version of metaabm installed? Sometimes Eclipse can be flakey abut recognizing changes in plugins even w/ the dropins. It sounds like it is something like that, because the org.metaabm.ide.gis plugin looks to be the only thing that isn't showing up. You might try dragging everything out of dropins, restarting Eclipse, quitting, and dragging it all back in. Silly but its worked for me..
